Nepal: One Day In Patan
Impressions of Patan - Lalitpur / Kathmandu.
This short film was made during a 6-month stay in Nepal. The fascination of everyday life in the royal city of Lalitpur / Patan in the Kathmandu Valley inspired me every day: Life on the streets starting 4am with ritual visits of temples, the midday road chaos towards the social evening at tea houses. “One Day In Patan” shows people in a religious and cultural characterized world.
Nepal Gokyo Valley - Gokyo Ri - Renjo La Pass - Thame
Destination was the village Gokyo as well as the 5480 m high Renja La Pass. 14 days trek took us through Solu Khumbu and the Gokyo Valley to the Gokyo Lakes and back through the Thame Valley. The most exciting view from the 5300 m high Gokyo Peak offered us spectacular views to four 8000 m peaks:
Mount Cho Oyu, Mount Everest, Mount Lhotse and Mount Makalu.
